Michalis is a litigation lawyer has extensive experience in all areas of Cypriot Law with particular expertise in employment, litigation and dispute resolution, tort, corporate, arbitration, banking, property and construction, insurance, land and administrative law. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Leeds Law School. In 2012, he was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association and become a member Keryneia Bar Association.
In 2011, Michalis he earned his Diploma in Legal Practice Course (L.P.C) and become a membership of Solicitors Regulation Authority. Over the years, he became a senior associate, a testament to his dedication, expertise and hard work.
In 2017 he become a Certified Mediator for Commercial Disputes.
As a litigator he has handled variety of cases involving administrative claims, employment matters, accident/personal injuries, banks, properties, construction and professional negligence in and out of Court of Cyprus. He has a significant judicial presence in the Courts of Cyprus, successfully carrying out the cases that are being assigned to him, having succeeded in the adoption of extremely important judicial decisions that constitute Case-law.
As a Senior Lawyer he has also a wide experience of drafting agreements while he provides support and advises clients regarding tenancy agreements, construction agreements, commercial agreements, employment contracts and many other variety of agreements. Furthermore, he is also a Certified Mediator for Commercial Disputes and Certified Insurance Law Specialist representing clients in mediation proceedings at Government Departments including Municipalities, Department of Labour, Welfare & Social Insurance and meetings with Trade Unions.
He continuously deepens his legal training as well as with the regular monitoring of legal seminars and programmes. At the same time, he is constantly informed of many other recent legislative developments at national, European and international level, as he is a member of international societies.
