Nicole Chrysanthou is a Junior Associate who joined LLPO Law Firm in October 2023. She was born and raised in South Africa, where she graduated with distinction in both a Bachelor of Commerce in Law and a Bachelor of Laws from Nelson Mandela University.
Work Experience
Nicole has been part of the firm’s Corporate Advisory and M&A practice since joining LLPO and has experience in corporate, financing and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, and corporate governance. She works with local and international clients on cross-border transactions and corporate structures, as well as financial services and regulatory matters.
Nicole also has experience in matters involving foundations and trusts, with a particular interest in their structuring, administration and governance. Her regulatory experience includes advising on EU sanctions and their implications for corporate and transactional matters.
Achievements
In 2024, Nicole was awarded the III LFN Young Lawyers Essay Award for her paper titled “Navigating the Threat of AI on International Democracy and Human Rights.”
