Maria Polyviou was born in Nicosia on September 19, 1994. She graduated from the European University of Nicosia in 2016 and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association on September 11, 2017.
Maria is a corporate lawyer with experience in various aspects of corporate law, including company registration, administration, litigation and financial matters. She is currently the Head of Corporate Department at LLPO Law Firm, where she specialises in the banking industry, corporate structuring, tax and company incorporation. Maria is known in the banking industry for her knowledge and expertise.
In her role as Head of Corporate Department, Maria drafts and reviews agreements, communicates with clients and serves as the firm’s Compliance Officer. In addition to her legal expertise, Maria is also a holder of an AML Certificate from CySec, demonstrating her proficiency in Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
