Marieta was born in Nicosia in 1995. She is a qualified Lawyer in Cyprus and has been a Member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2019. She is a holder of LLB Law from the European University of Cyprus.

In 2018, she joined LLPO Law Firm where she completed her pupilage. During her pupilage with LLPO Marieta gained valuable experience in drafting court pleadings, including  affidavits, statement of claims and defence statements in many areas of the law including Criminal Law, Administration of Estates and Corporate Litigation.

She officially joined LLPO in 2019. Since then, she has been heavily involved in all aspects of insolvency including bankruptcy, company voluntary arrangements, administrations and liquidations. She is engaged with the drafting and reviewing of various corporate agreements and provides legal assistance on corporate law matters.

Marieta acts for corporates, funds, office holders, directors and other stakeholders. She is engaged with the registration and authorisation of Alternative Investment Funds, legal advising on matters related to Alternative Investment Funds and Alternative Investment Fund Managers.

Marieta is fluent in Greek, English and retains a good knowledge of the French language.
