Supporting community participation and bringing people together in the heart of Nicosia
LLPO Law Firm is pleased to participate once again in Laou Laou – Open Streets, taking place on Sunday, 20 September 2026, in Agioi Omologites, Nicosia.
Laou Laou is a neighbourhood initiative that transforms the streets of Agioi Omologites into open spaces for people of all ages to meet, participate and enjoy a day centred around community life. The event forms part of the European Mobility Week and includes street games, cycling, music and dance, workshops, arts and crafts, an NGO village, the Laou Laou market and food from local businesses and the OPU Community Kitchen.
Throughout the day, local organisations, businesses, residents and friends of the neighbourhood will also open their doors and contribute their own activities, creating opportunities for people to explore the area and engage with the local community.
Our Participation
As part of LLPO Law Firm’s ongoing commitment to the community, our offices in Agioi Omologites will once again be part of the event.
We look forward to welcoming visitors to our premises and offering complimentary juices and soft drinks throughout the day. Our participation is a simple way for our team to contribute to an initiative taking place within our own neighbourhood and to welcome members of the community into our space.
For us, Corporate Social Responsibility is not limited to sponsorships or financial contributions. It also means being present, participating and supporting initiatives that encourage stronger connections between people and the communities in which we live and work.
A Day for the Community
Laou Laou brings together residents, local businesses, organisations, NGOs and visitors around a shared public space, encouraging people to experience the neighbourhood in a different way.
